Notes of potpourri, orange blossom and spice frame the red fruit core of crunchy cranberry and raspberry. A wine of light brush strokes over an elegant frame. There’s real tension on the palate as the vibrant fruit, cool natural acid and powdery mouth-coating tannins carry this medium-bodied Grenache through to a long finish.

Vineyard Notes
Polygon No. 3 is just 0.274 hectares in size and contains approximately 200 vines. Working with terroir specialist, Pedro Parra, we identified this polygon to be unique in its limestone content. Below a very narrow band of topsoil lies a thick band of sedimentary limestone studded with fractured schist. Once you hit the rock, there is no clay present. Southern Cross certified organic and biodynamic. 1300kg of Polygon 3 fruit was handpicked and delivered to the winery on the 15th of March. Fermented naturally in concrete tulip with 80% whole bunches and the rest de-stemmed. P3 spent a total of 30 days on skins before basket pressing and maturation in one 700L Nomblot concrete egg until bottling in February 2024.
